MORNING

Buckle your ski boots and hop on the lifts at Deer Valley Resort, consistently named the top ski resort in the US. With 103 trails spread across 2,026 acres, there’s more than enough terrain to keep you entertained. Soak in spectacular views of the Jordanelle Reservoir and the Timpanogos Mountain Range as you race down Stein’s Way, an esteemed trail named after Deer Valley’s former and legendary Director of Skiing, Stein Eriksen.

AFTERNOON

After a few hours floating through light, fluffy Utah powder, make your way to any of Deer Valley’s on-mountain or base-area restaurants for a steaming bowl of their famous turkey chili. With your body refueled, head back to the slopes and find a friendly Mountain Host who can take you on a historically themed tour of the resort. In case you didn’t know, Deer Valley’s trail names are from old mining claims, and a guide can point these out during a complimentary excursion.

EVENING

Toast to your iconic ski day at Old Town Cellars, the “official wine of après” in Park City. Sip a glass of Snowbunny Syrah or Mountain Town White, all blended and bottled in the heart of historic downtown. Pair it with a plate of locally sourced meats and cheese and finish it off with chunks of sweetness from Ritual Chocolate.

MORNING

Kick off the day with breakfast at the Eating Establishment, a Park City tradition since 1972. Fill up on dishes like the loaded baked potato omelette, ratatouille & grits or lemon curd-topped French toast. Then head to Utah Olympic Park, home of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Join a venue tour to relive the glory of the Winter Games and get a quick history lesson on skiing in Utah at the Alf Engen Ski Museum. End the visit with a heart-pumping ride on the Winter Comet Bobsled and see what it felt like to fly on the Olympic course.

AFTERNOON

If you didn’t get enough of the Wasatch Mountain views on the slopes, you can see even more from the seat of a snowmobile. Located eight miles from Park City at Garff Ranch, Summit Meadows Adventures operates daily guided snowmobile tours taking guests down beautiful groomed trails. When your adrenaline stops pumping, head back to main street to check out the Park City Museum. Learn about the region’s history, from early settlers to the silver mining operations to its transition to a top ski destination.

EVENING

Get a glimpse at the city’s darker past on a Park City Ghost Tour. Guides lead visitors down Historic Main Street and Park Avenue, telling terrifying tales of those who have passed and the places they haunt. Shake off your nerves with a cocktail or pint of craft beer at No Name Saloon. If you can, grab a seat on the rooftop deck, one of the best spots to listen for the 10pm “miner’s curfew bell” that sounds every night from the Park City Museum.

MORNING

Have more time? Make the most of your Ikon Pass with a visit to Brighton and Solitude Mountain. Before leaving Park City, stop at Five5eeds for energy-inducing foods like smashed avo on toast, acai bowls, and breakfast panna cotta. Fully fueled, it’s time to hit the trails at Brighton, with some of the best access to Big Cottonwood Canyon’s elite powder. Advanced terrain lives on Mt. Millicent, with challenging lines through trees and open space. Enjoy some laidback runs off the Crest and Snake-Creek lifts or test your powder skills by hitting some soft glades adjacent to Hawkeye and Powder Alley.

AFTERNOON

Make your way to Solitude Mountain for an afternoon of even more of Utah’s best powder. Before hitting the snow, grab some sustenance at Roundhouse, serving up perfectly seasoned curry fries (a local's favorite!) and lamb curry. After lunch, head to Sunshine Bowl or Dynamite for some relaxed, smooth groomers; or release the inner powder hound with a ride through the steep, gladed powder fields of Black Forest, Voltaire and Here Be Dragons. Unwind with a local brew and toast to your quick, but action-packed visit to Park City.
