Brighton Resort

Big, Bold & Bright

Brighton is Utah's only resort that can boast that 100% of its terrain is accessible by high speed quads, allowing guests to experience all of its incredible Utah skiing. The mountain averages 500 inches of light, fluffy and dry snow, making it a paradise for riders & skiers. Brighton is located directly in the path of winter storms and it is also at the very top of Big Cottonwood Canyon so it gets the very best of "The Greatest Snow on Earth,” and lots of it.

ENTER THE BONE ZONE

Utah’s Big Cottonwood Canyon gets some of the world’s coldest, driest snow—home to Brighton and its pre-season terrain park called the Bone Zone. Check it out, and you may spot even Olympic snowboard slopestyle gold medalist Sage Kotsenburg practicing some of his signature tricks.

NIGHTLY POWDER REFILLS

When it’s snowing, hit the Great Western lift in the morning, and then come back at dusk for perfect night skiing conditions with bottomless powder refills. Brighton offers Utah’s most extensive night skiing, including more than 200 acres, three lifts, and the mountain’s main terrain park.

NACHO AVERAGE APRÈS

Pop into Molly Green’s rustic A-frame ski chalet for a heaping stack of its famous nachos. Located slopeside at Brighton’s base, this cozy bar and grill—complete with moose heads and fireplace—is the perfect place to nosh on nachos, swap ski stories, and down a few ice-cold beers.

Local Hack

Don’t want to spend all your souvenir money on resort food? Brighton believes that skiing should still be affordable, so they offer a brown-bag area for you to stow and snack. So pack up your coolers and plug in your crock pots—lunch will soon be served.
