SNOWBOARDING BEGINS

Snowboarding’s roots may not date back nearly as long as skiing’s, but at Stratton, the history of the sport runs deep. In 1983, Stratton became the first resort to allow snowboarders on its trails, earning it the nickname, The Birthplace of Snowboarding.

WINDING POWDER RUNS

When the powder is fresh, head to Slalom Glade. It's tree-lined for shelter, steep for deep powder stashes and off-the-beaten path for free refills. Powderhounds rejoice!
